The German studio Lorinser Classic turned a former army SUV into a camping vehicle. As a basis, experts took the Puch G230 GE model, in fact – a foreign version of the legendary Gelendvagen. Prior to this, the car “served” in the Swiss army.
Such decommissioned army SUVs with a high roof can be bought for about 15-16 thousand euros. Under the hood, it has a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine with 114 horsepower. Of course, they all come on both axes. During its military career, the car managed to drive 88,000 kilometers.
However, Lorinser experts did not just restore the car. In addition to the original drawing of the card on the body, the car also received new wheels with BFGoodrich tires, as well as LED optics. Inside, this Mercedes was turned into a real motor home. It has a kitchenette with microwave, cupboards, a washbasin and other amenities. Also in the car is a pair of beds for travelers. The price of such a camper on wheels is 69,900 euros.
