The Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) announced that 20,464 individuals have already registered with car dealers for Rabla Clasic 2021., another 3,994 using Rabla Plus.
According to AFM, 20,464 individuals have registered with car dealers within the Rabla Clasic 2021 program, so far 9,498 vehicles and 61 motorcycles have been purchased.
Also, for legal entities, a new list containing 118 accepted files for 197 vehicles was published on the AFM website. Three appeals were also recorded for four vehicles.
At the same time, within the Rabla Plus 2021 Program (electrified cars), 3,994 individuals have registered with car dealers, and so far 390 new vehicles have been purchased (252 purely electric, 137 hybrid plug-in and an electric motorcycle).
According to AFM data, for legal entities were published another 105 files accepted for 172 electric vehicles, out of which 58 electric – hybrid and 114 pure electric vehicles.
„The lists of the files accepted within these programs are published on the website www.afm.ro, at the sections related to the Classic Scrap and Scrap Plus Programs. The legal entities that have been accepted can address the car manufacturers / dealers validated in the Rabla and Rabla Plus Programs, their lists being available on the institution’s website ”, mentions AFM.

The validity of the registration note within the Classic Scrap Program is 150 days from the date of issue, respectively 240 days for the Scrap Plus Program, during which the beneficiaries will carry out all the specific procedures for purchasing the new vehicle.
According to MMAP data, Rabla Clasic 2021 has a total budget of 440 million lei, 35 million lei more than in 2020, which will allow the purchase of over 55,000 new, less polluting vehicles.
For this year, both the scrapping premium was increased – from 6,500 lei to 7,500 lei, and the ecobonus for hybrid technology – from 2,500 lei to 3,000 lei, as well as the GNC / LPG / emissions ecobonus under 96 grams of CO2 / km – from 1,000 lei to 1,500 lei.
The maximum amount that can be settled from the costs of a new car through Rabla Clasic can reach approximately 2,250 euros, given that the eco-bonuses can be combined with each other and added to the scrapping premium.
The new edition of the Rabla Plus Program has, this year, the largest budget since its launch, respectively 400 million lei, double compared to the previous year. In this context, in 2021 the highest premium in Europe for electric cars will remain unchanged, respectively 10,000 euros for “full electric” and about 4,500 euros for plug-in hybrid cars, but not more than 50% of the value of the vehicle. new. Those who want to give up an old, polluting car and buy an electric vehicle will benefit from both the scrapping premium granted through the Rabla Clasic program, worth 7,500 lei, and the eco-label allocated under the Rabla Plus program.
Also, for the purchase of new motorcycles, in exchange for handing over a scrapped used vehicle, a scrapping premium of 5,500 lei is granted. The cumulative value of the eco-label and the scrapping premium may not exceed 50% of the purchase value of the electric motorcycle.
